Normally, we all meet together for a time of singing and praise. Prior to the message, children ages 3-years-old to 5th grade are dismissed to an age-appropriate experience of Bible stories, crafts, games, and fun in our kid's precious stones' section of the building. We have a staffed nursery (birth – 2 year olds) for the entirety of our service. Our time of worship is informal, casual, contemporary and thematically driven. Living Stones Church is currently the host to the Underground Cafe, whose mission is to use music to draw the crowd, then build relationships with kids who would otherwise never step foot into a church or traditional youth group. Sam Barrington is the Pastor of Living Stones Church.

Sonshine Preschool is a ministry of the Deer Run Church of Christ. We believe that education is best approached with a spiritual and Biblical foundation. Preschool is an excellent time to establish good habits that lead to a lifetime of learning. We are a curriculum based preschool with the goal of seeing our students graduate well prepared to enter Kindergarten. We have two classes for the 3 year olds that meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and two classes for the 4 year olds that meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Explore the joys of music making with your children. In these classes, teacher and parents create a musical environment where children make music in its most spontaneous and natural form, fostering confidence and creativity in their music making. Ultimately, through singing, chanting and movement, and the appropriate sequence of activities, children take their first steps toward the natural understanding and ownership of melody and rhythm. Children are also gently introduced and exposed to different instruments. Parents will learn to recognize and nurture the first signs of their child's musical development and aptitude. These classes run in sessions of seven to eight weeks. Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays, with the following age groups offered each day: pre-walkers, walkers-up to 3 years old, and 3-5 years old and some mixed age groups for infants and toddlers.
